Pyramids Are Always Pagan Refuted and Debunked

Most Christian denominations claim that pyramids and obelisks are Egyptian pagan sun worship. That's what most people believe. That is what is taught by most churches and pastors and Christian websites, and even historical and archaeological websites. But in this article, I will provide biblical, archaeological and historical proof that will refute and debunk that traditional teaching.
Please examine the entire article carefully to fully examine the evidence, instead of having a "knee jerk" automatic reaction, thinking that you already know everything. The bible teaches us to prove all things and to examine ourselves, not just assume that we already know all truth.

Step 1: If we are Christians, then the first thing that we should do is pray. So please take time now to pray before going any farther.

Step 2: The next thing that we must do is to search the bible for the word related to our subject, which is "pyramid(s)". Hey, wait a minute! Did you pray yet? Go back to step 1 if you did not pray yet!

However, those searches do not include the apocrypha books of the bible that are not in most protestant bibles. The original KJV of 1611 included several books of the bible that were later removed from most bibles. And the Greek Septuagint bible that Jesus and the apostles used also had those books! So we should search in those books too!

At the time that I did this search, the first result refers to 1 Maccabees 13 which is in the apocrypha books of the holy bible. That's the only result that is worthy of checking out. On this website, I have already proven that the book of Enoch can not be trusted, as it goes contrary to scripture. (See proof at https://www.isawthelightministries.com/tools.html) So we will ignore the results for Enoch since we have already proven it as fake, and really the book of Enoch doesn't even mention pyramids. Instead, let us now examine 1 Mac. 13.

1 Maccabees 13:25-30 (AOB)
:25 Simeon sent men and gathered the remains of his brother Jonathan and buried him in Modein, the city of his fathers.
:26 All Jesrael (Israel) mourned him with great lament for many days.
:27 Simeon also built up the tomb of his father and brothers with polished stone (as pyramids were built) in front and back, making it high enough to be seen.
:28 He then built seven pyramids, one opposite the other, for his father and mother and his four brothers.
:29 Around these pyramids he made equipment of war, building massive pillars around them, and upon these pillars he placed suits of armour for a lasting memorial, and alongside the suits of armour he made carved ships, so they could be seen by everyone sailing the sea.
:30 This tomb which he made in Modein exists until this day.

He had some flaws as any human does. He wrongfully made peace treaties with heathen empires in hopes of peace. But I don't see any evidence that he practiced any form of paganism. In fact, the same link says "Simon was still confronted with the task of securing his position in the country. He therefore laid siege to the old and powerful city of Gazara and captured it, after which he expelled the pagan inhabitants, removed the idols from the houses, purified the city, and "placed such men there as would keep the law" (I Macc. xiii. 43-48; comp. xiv. 34; "Ant." xiii. 6, § 7; Strabo, p. 759)". Simon Maccabeus would have known his parent's and brother's thoughts about pyramids and would not have disgraced or dishonored his family or Israel by building pyramids if they had considered the pyramids as pagan. I realize that pyramids and obelisks can be pagan if used in a pagan way. And so I will address that as well later. But Simon seems to have only built the pyramids as tombs and memorials and not as pagan altars. Simeon was never accused of idolatry in the bible. I don't find any evidence that God punished him or rebuked him for building pyramids. Usually the absence of punishment equals approval.

I will also make two additional observations before moving to the next area of discussion.
1. Polished stone. We know that most pyramids in Egypt and around the world were originally covered in polished stone. Those stones would have been very shiny and sparkling. I will discuss the reason for that later. Over the centuries, Arabs and others have removed the outer layer of stones with no respect for history or memorial.
2. It seems that Simon also made carvings of ships as memorials. There is a reason for this as well, which will also be discussed later.

1 Maccabees 13 is the only reference that we have directly to pyramids, as far we I currently understand it in the translations available to us. However, there is a different reference to obelisks.

Jer. 43:13 (NASB) (Chapter 50 in AOB) "He will also shatter the [a]obelisks of [b]Heliopolis, which is in the land of Egypt; and the temples of the gods of Egypt he will burn with fire."
Footnotes: A. Or stone pillars B. Heb Beth-shemesh; i.e. the house of the sun-god.
So that is a very stern warning that God will destroy the obelisks of a specific location. This verse does not say that God will destroy all obelisks. Most people assume that all pyramids and all obelisks serve the exact same purpose as this specific obelisk. They also assume that the "temples" refer to the pyramids. 1 Thes. 5 tells us to prove all things. Not just assume and not jump to conclusions. Heliopolis is now located in Ayn Shams, a northeastern suburb of Cairo. As far as I can tell, no pyramids are at the location, only the obelisk and remnants of the old sun worship temple.

Were pyramids the temples of Egypt's gods? No! The sun temples were separate structures! Proof follows:

Ra's temple at Heliopolis was one of the great religious centers of the age, and several Old Kingdom pharaohs built large sun temples in his honor near their pyramids. Yes the temples and pyramids were parts of the same complex of buildings some times, especially as time continued. But originally not so much. Either way, they are separate buildings and not always connected in same complex.

Ziggurats are multi-storied structures which usually share a common feature of having seven levels or layers to represent the 7 planets of the heavens. These were also postulated to have temples at the top since there are no concrete evidences claiming such until today. There are also no chambers within these infrastructures and are typically shaped in a rectangular or square fashion.
Pyramids have chambers inside and appear to have triangular outer surfaces (faces) that meet at one point at the top. Most pyramids have five faces all in all including its base although there are four-faced pyramids that have triangular or non quadrilateral bases."

Therefore, if you do your research, as we see above, the pyramids and temples were separate structures. Not the same! Jeremiah 43:13 is very specific to the destruction of sun temples and the specific obelisks at that location. Not worldwide. We can definitely understand that God will destroy all pagan locations, not just this one. But we would need to prove that all obelisks and all pyramids are pagan in order to say that He will destroy all pyramids and all obelisks.

I don't know of any other scriptures for pyramids and obelisks. So our next step is to continue our research with additional historical and archaeological resources. We should not go to modern church ministry websites for this research. That's the mistake that everyone makes. They go to modern religious websites which are nothing but someone's religious opinions in the wicked years beyond 2000, not historical facts. One of the many lies that you have probably already read on ministry websites is that obelisks are penises. That's a very ridiculous theory! That's the kind of insanity that you have to deal with in most very legalistic Babylonian religious websites. Historical and archaeological records prove their claim as wrong! The obelisks were not modeled after a penis! You can examine that more in the article about obelisks.

Joseph's Grain Storage for 7 Years

Modern people have forgotten the history of the pyramids. But in earlier centuries, it was very well known that the Egyptian pyramids were used by Joseph as storage buildings to preserve grain for the 7 years of plenty and the 7 years of famine.
Genesis 41:48-49 And he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was round about every city, laid he up in the same.
And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number.

Meaning of the Word Pyramid

Modern bible concordances, lexicons and websites proclaim that the word pyramids means, or comes from "fire/energy in the midst". That may be true. But earlier lexicons gave a completely different picture!

So we see above that historical record of what people were saying about the pyramids, and plus also what old lexicons said about the word "pyramid", both confirm that Joseph used the pyramids for grain storage. Egypt did have grain silos. But he needed to save up grain for 7 years, and he had enough to not only feed Egypt during 7 years of famine, but also other nations. Therefore, it makes sense that he would utilize the huge structures of the pyramids in addition to the silos. In fact, grain has been found in archaeological discoveries of the pyramids.

The Labyrinth of the 12 Kings in Hawara, Egypt

In the village of Hawara, Egypt is the ancient remains of a huge labyrinth which contained the courts of 12 kings who were not Egyptian! When Joseph was in Egypt, his 11 brothers eventually joined him in Egypt. At the edge of this labyrinth, is a pyramid which was built for or during the time of the pharaoh of Joseph's lifetime. The water canal which runs beside of this complex is traditionally called "Joseph's Canal"! Therefore, it's easy to believe that the 12 kings were the 12 patriarchs of Israel. They were the kings of their tribes.

Many would claim that the labyrinth can not belong to the 12 tribes of Israel because the labyrinth includes graven images of crocodiles which were Egyptian gods. But I believe that those crocodile images were added by the Egyptians later after the 12 kings including Joseph died. We know that after Joseph died, Egypt turned against the Israelites. We also know that Arabs have a history of defiling ancient structures, especially Israelite structures. Throughout the bible, heathen nations defiled the holy places of Israel. We also know that eventually, the Romans also defiled the labyrinth. So it is not far fetched at all to believe that Egypt would have added the crocodiles after the death of the 12 kings of Israel. The structure is buried under tons of sand. Egypt will not allow any further excavation of the archaeological site. Therefore, it can not yet be proven when the crocodile graven images were put in place, whether it was part of the original structure or added later. But being added later is a very real possibility. Therefore, the presence of the crocodile gods can not be used for absolute abandonment of the theory that the labyrinth belonged to the 12 kings of Israel.
The fact that Egypt is suppressing the work of the archaeologists is further reason to believe that the labyrinth was built by Israelites when they ruled parts of Egypt. And if so, then that also gives more credence to believe that ancient Israel supported the building of pyramids as well, since a pyramid is on the site.

"Almost 2 years passed since we handed over our Hawara-Archaeological-Project permission application to the Ministry of Antiquities....The file was lost by their administration twice. Early this year Dr. Tassie Geoffrey John (our to be Hawara Project Field-director) went to Egypt to figure out once again the status of our preservation project's permission. Unfortunately, he died unexpectedly in a Cairo taxi. A great loss for the archaeological community, a total loss for the planned Hawara mission. Back to the drawing board now."

Water Canals

Earlier I mentioned a connection to ships in the book of Maccabees. The connection is that recent archaeological discoveries now reveal that the way that the pyramids were built included moving the huge stones via ships/boats using man made water canals. We now know that there were water canals next to most, if not all, of the pyramids in Egypt, including the pyramid next to the labyrinth of the 12 kings. Also, the Israelite tribe of Dan was a sea faring people. So there is now no surprise that Simon made memorials to ships next to his pyramids. All the dots connect.

Moses, The Flood and The Tower of Babel

Moses was raised in Egypt. As a prince of Egypt, he might have even helped build some pyramids. Eventually, God had Moses to write down hundreds of laws and regulations. The pyramids were standing in Egypt at this time, and the Israelites had helped to build at least some of them. Yet as far as I can determine so far, Moses never wrote anything against pyramids! They are not forbidden or mentioned in the law. And they also were not destroyed in the 10 plagues! God used the Egyptian gods of flies, frogs, the Nile River, etc to strike the Egyptians. Yet God did nothing that we know of to the pyramids!
Plus, if pyramids were pagan, the Israelites would not have agreed to build them, even upon threat of death!
It's also possible that the pyramids were standing before Noah's flood, in which case, God did not destroy the pyramids in the flood, and thereafter He destroyed the Tower of Babel, but still didn't destroy the pyramids. Multiple times, God could have totally wiped out the pyramids, but didn't! Even during the entire lifetime of Jesus on Earth, we don't have any record of him saying anything about the pyramids, nor any of the apostles or prophets, which would be very strangely odd if they had considered them as pagan.

Healing Properties of Pyramids

The pyramids are most known to most people as Egyptian tombs. But what they have not yet heard, but is proven fact, is that very few mummies and dead bodies have been found inside pyramids! In fact, the sarcophagus wasn't just for dead bodies, but also for sick but living bodies! The Egyptians used the sarcophagus as healing chambers. The sarcophagus and the pyramids themselves including quartz and other crystals in their building material because they understood that crystals have energy and healing abilities. Also very important is that the pyramids are attuned to vowel sounds. Vowel sounds were considered sacred to the Egyptians. Josephus, who was a famous Jewish historian and writer, said that the high priest in God's temple, wore the name of God on their forehead, and that the true name of God is not 4 consonants like many people wrongfully believe, but rather 4 vowels! The wicked Assyrians and Babylonians chanted 4 consonants in their witchcraft and pagan worship of the moon god, Allah (Al-Yahweh). Today in modern times, satanists and witches still chant the Assyrian 4 consonants of YHWH. But the Hebrew high priest of the true god would chant the 4 vowels of the true name of God, I/JE(s)UE(s)! Electrical Properties of Pyramids

There is much proof that the pyramids manufactured electrical energy. I believe that is for the purpose of providing electricity in pre-flood times which were much more advanced than most people realize. And the energy also preserved food and healed sickness. Polished Stone

Getting back to the point about Simon using polished stones, the pyramids of Egypt were also lined with polished stone which sparkled in the sun light and which also increased electrical currents, whether for energy or for healing or preservation, for any purpose, the stones were part of a combination of materials used to perform the physical functions of the pyramids. Therefore, the pyramids were not temples (which were separate structures), and were not just for sun worship. The sun worshippers were giving the glory for the healing and electricity to the sun god, because they did not know the true God. The reason for their worship was praise and thanksgiving for their healing and for food preservation and electricity. Although it was wrong for them to give the glory to false gods, the point is that the origin and true purpose of the pyramids was not false and pagan worship, but rather healing, preservation and energy.

Pyramids in North America, South America

The existence of pyramids in other regions of the Earth outside of Egypt, of which some are even older than the Egyptian pyramids, gives credence to the fact that the pyramids were not limited to just Egyptian pagan worship.

At Louisiana State University, there are 2 very large "Native American" earthen mounds that are much older than the Egyptian pyramids. One of the campus mounds was excavated in 2012 and found to be about 6,100 years old.

"Seven miles outside of downtown Cherokee, N.C. is Kituwah, the original Cherokee settlement, also known as the “Cherokee Mother Town.” Kituwah is considered by all three of the federally recognized Cherokee tribes as the place of origin for the Cherokee people. Archeologists date the site back to nearly 10,000 years ago.
Kituwah Mound was the center of the village, according to Cherokee legend. Originally, the mound was 15 to 20 feet tall, and one of the places of the “eternal flame.” In Cherokee culture, the tribal “keepers of medicine” would keep fires burning in the council houses on top of the mounds, symbolizing the presence of the Creator and the life of the town.
Kituwah Mound is still visible today. It stands about six feet tall, reduced in height after years of farming when it was not under Cherokee ownership, from 1820 to 1996. The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians brought back the Kituwah village site in 1996 with the purchase of more than 300 acres of land, their first major land purchase in more than a century?"

In December of 2009 Duke Energy began clearing a site which overlooked the Kituwah Mound site. They were planning to build a $52 million dollar electrical substation on the site, but had not consulted with tribal leaders or locals about the impact that such development would have on the sacred historical site. A grassroots movement quickly took shape and launched a campaign to Save Kituwah. I find it very interesting that the electric company wanted very badly to have the exact location of the ancient pyramid! Do they know that this location on the Earth is especially conductive to electricity? Of course they know!

Ohio's Lost Stone Pyramid Mound: Near Newark, Ohio

"Perhaps the largest and finest stone mound in Ohio was that which stood about eight miles south of Newark, and one mile east of the reservoir on the Licking Summit of the Ohio canal. It was a composed of stones found on the adjacent grounds, laid up, without cement, to the height of about fifty feet, with a circular base of one hundred and eighty-two feet if diameter. It was surrounded by a low embankment of an oval form, accompanied by a ditch, and having a gateway at the east end. When the reservoir, which is seven miles long, was made, in order to protect the east bank, so that it might be used for navigation, the stones from this mound were removed for that purpose. During the years 1831-32 not less than fifty teams were employed in hauling them, carrying away from ten thousand to fifteen thousand wagon loads. Near the circumference of the base of the mound were discovered fifteen or sixteen small earth mounds, and a similar one in the center. These small mounds were not examined until 1850, when two of them were opened by some of the neighboring farmers. In one were found human bones with some fluviatile shells, and in the other, two feet below a layer of hard, white fire clay, they came upon a trough, covered by small logs, and in it was found a human skeleton, around which appeared the impression of coarse cloth. With the skeleton were found fifteen copper rings and a breastplate or badge. The wood of the trough was in a good state of preservation, the clay over it being impervious to both air and water. The central mound was afterwards opened and found to contain a great many human bones, but no other relics of any note. All of these mounds, so far as they have been explored, contain earth from a distance- the fire clay having been brought from Flint Ridge, six or eight miles distant."

There are many other examples across the internet. The overwhelming evidence is that the white tribes of Israel were in America even before the Indians, who I believe really were from India. People from India have dark skin. The traditional fairy tale that the Native American Indians were of eastern Asian descent is ridiculous. Native American Indians do not look Chinese, Japanese or Korean. But rather they look Indian. The Native American Indians admit that white people were already in America and those white people were building pyramids, which is proof of Egyptian and Hebrew activity in America well before Columbus. It was destined for Israel to rule America. The Israeli tribes were wiped out by the Indians. But eventually more and more tribes of Israel came to America from England, Ireland and other places in Europe, who are also tribes of Israel. See proof that the USA and British Commonwealth are the descendants of the tribes of Israel. It is a myth that true Israelites must have dark skin just because they come from the middle east. Look at people in Egypt, Israel and Jordan. Most of them have white skin. I am of both Jewish and Cherokee ancestry. Egypt's Corrupted Use of the Pyramids

From all of the above facts, it's reasonable to believe that pyramids were originally for the purpose of the creation of electricity, and for healing, preservation of foods and preservation of dead bodies. Most of that is very good fruit. Not pagan and not evil. I believe that the sun worshippers eventually misused the pyramids for sun worship, just as also the Arabs, Muslims, witches, and other evil groups have misused and corrupted many things throughout history. Just because we can see sodomites using the rainbow as their symbol, doesn't mean that the rainbow is of evil origin. And neither can we assume that the pyramids are always evil just because we know that the Egyptians used them in pagan practices. Pyramids can be used for healing and preservation, which seems that they could have possibly originated from God himself at some point in history that has been forgotten.
There are some theories that the pyramids were built by Job, or before the flood, but I won't go into those theories, but if they were built before the flood, then that again removes them from the Egyptian sun worship.

The city of New Jerusalem on the newly remodeled Earth in Paradise will be 1500 miles long, 1500 miles wide and 1500 miles tall. Most people imagine this as a giant cube. But there is another possibility. It could just as well be a pyramid. The base/foundation of a pyramid also have a square base. Both a cube and a pyramid could be as equally tall as it is wide. Famous bible scholars Unger, Larkin, Missler and others think it's a pyramid. Considering all that we know about pyramids, I tend to agree.

Many crystals absorb and transmit light. The bible says that Jesus himself will be the light of paradise. But wouldn't it make sense that the city made of crystals, with the bright and shining presence of God, would be an energetic and healing pyramid, rather than a cube? I think so!

The Chief Cornerstone That the Builders Rejected

Matthew 21:42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

Acts 4:11 He is 'the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.'

1 Peter 2:7 To you who believe, then, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, "The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,"

It's very interesting that the Great Pyramid of Giza is missing its top capstone, as shown on the back of the American dollar bill. America is the Israelite tribe of Manasseh, who was born in Egypt. Although I understand that the "all-seeing eye" represents Islamic Freemasonry and the antichrist, we can find some truth in any and every religion, even within Babylon. The pagan Egyptians understood some truth, as so do the wicked Freemasons. The image of God (even if it shows the false god) coming down to complete the pyramid is a hint of Jesus coming to Earth to complete the crystal mansions that He is currently building for us in Heaven, which He will bring with Him when He comes.

Amazing! All of this fits perfectly with the use of healing crystals, as Jesus recently taught us here at this ministry.
