The theory/doctrine of universal reconciliation says that all people will be saved. That's a lovely imaginary future. It tickles the ears as words that would be beautiful & pleasing to hear, that our loved ones, and even ourselves, have absolutely no possibility of suffering eternal death and judgment. The claim is that because the bible says that God is not willing for anyone to perish, but to have everlasting life, that his perfect will, will be fulfilled and therefore there is nothing that you could do or not do, to change it, i.e. that there is no way that you could not inherit eternal life in Jesus.

Bible Scripture Verses that refute/debunk this tickle the ear doctrine:

2 Peter 3
:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
(The purpose of The Lake of Fire will not be for making any wicked person righteous. There are no bible verses that teach that the fire will convert people into righteous, clean, saved people. Instead, all scripture about The Lake of Fire describe it as punishment and death. There is no reason to believe that the wicked who are consumed by the fire, will continue to live or come back to life. It will be a day of judgment. We are warned against this day. We are not encouraged about this day!)
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
(It doesn't say that no one will perish. It doesn't say that everyone will come to repentance. But rather, it is saying that The Lord is longsuffering, waiting for us to repent so that He will not have to destroy us. Scripture is clear that some people will perish & exist no more! Psalm 37:20 Malachi 4, Matt.10:28)
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
(This is a warning to the ungodly.)
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
(This is a warning to the ungodly.)
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
(The people of righteousness will be those who took the warning and repented. There is nothing that says that the ungodly can enter eternal life in the new earth.)
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
(Those who are blameless receive their reward of new Earth, new heavens. Those who are found unclean, will not enter it but will be utterly destroyed!)
15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
(It doesn't say that all people will be saved. But because He delays and has longsuffering, more people will be saved because of the 2nd resurrection. If everyone is going to be saved regardless of anything, then there is no need to be longsuffering.)
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
(The people who accept the poisonous candy of the doctrine of universal reconciliation, do wrestle and twist the scriptures to their own destruction & they will die!)

Genesis 3
:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

The very first lie that was ever told is that you can sin and will not die, but will live forever. This is the very same lie of the traditional doctrine that all of the wicked people will live forever in hell. God said you will die if you disobey Him! Who do you believe?

Malachi 4
1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.
(This is clear warning! The wicked will be consumed & turned to ashes. They will not live forever. They will not be saved. They will not be converted. They will not be turned righteous.)

Psalm 37:20
"But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away."
(They will not live forever. They will not be converted to righteousness. They will not be saved. They will cease to exist. They will be annihilated.)

Hebrews 10
:26 For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

:21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
:22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Matt. 25
:14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.

Book of "Wisdom", in the Greek Septuagint (bible that Jesus and the Apostles actually used) including Apocrypha:
Wisdom 1:5 "For the holy spirit of discipline will flee deceit, and remove from thoughts that are without understanding, and will not abide when unrighteousness cometh in."

John 3
:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Acts 2
:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Revelation 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
(Death is death. There is nothing in scripture that teaches that death is only separation from God. This verse and many other verses very clearly teach that the wicked will not live, and will not be converted. Instead, they will be righteously judged and given the death penalty.)

Revelation 22
:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
(This verse is very clear that the Lake of Fire will not turn anyone from wickedness to righteousness. If they are wicked, they will still be wicked & will suffer the second death which is eternal death, not eternal life.)
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
(If you deserve death, you will receive death, not life.)
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
(If you do not keep His commandments, you do not have the right to the tree of life. Without the tree of life which is Jesus, you cannot live. You will perish/die, be annihilated out of existence forever.)

Objection: 1 Cor. 3
:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Answer: We must keep verse 15 in context with verses 11-12 which is the context of building upon the foundation of Christ. "Building upon the foundation" refers to Matthew 28:16-20 & Ephesians 4:11-16 (please read those now in your bible) which explains that although the foundation was laid, we must continue to build up the Church of Christ. We must continue to teach, preach, evangelize & baptize. We must continue to usher in the Kingdom. If we make full spiritual profit of our ministry (see the parable of talents in Matt.25:14-30), we have built good things upon the foundation of Christ. But if we have labored for Christ and did poorly, then we can still be saved but just have less rewards. This doesn't mean that all people will be saved. We must consider every verse of the bible, not just the ones that fit the doctrine that you try to prove.

2 John 1:8 "Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward."

Mark of the Beast People Saved Without Repentance

The false doctrine of universal reconciliation teaches that even Muslims, atheists, murderers, Hindus, Buddhists, witches, satanists, pagans, people who take the Mark of the Beast, and all other wicked people, everyone that ever lived, without exception, and without repentance, will be saved via purification by the Lake of Fire. This is total nonsense!

Acts 4
:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Acts 2
:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Objection: People are baptized unto salvation via the Fire of Jesus in the Lake of Fire.

Matthew 3:11 "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:"

Answer: John the baptizer was rebuking the Pharisees! He insulted them! Look at the entire context! He was not telling the Pharisees that they were going to be saved. The entire context is rebuke & warning! And he did not baptize them. Luke 7:30 "But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him."

:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers (poisonous snakes), who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
(Very clearly the casting into the fire is not for salvation or conversion or purification. But rather for judgment & destruction.)
11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize (Greek word means "immerse" or "engulf") you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
(To be baptized by the Holy Ghost in the fire is not a good thing! It's a strong rebuke & warning that they would be destroyed!)

No Need For Any Law, Obedience, Holiness, Evangelism, Preaching, Witnessing

If the doctrine was true that all people will eventually be saved and live forever, then there would be no need for any law, obedience to any law, holiness, evangelism, preaching, teaching or witnessing. You could just stay lost and live for the devil, murder, steal, and treat everyone horrible & the only consequences is just less rewards, but you would still enjoy the future paradise of new heavens & new Earth. It's really a very stupid doctrine that makes absolutely no sense!

Need for Salvation

If you have fallen victim to the false doctrine of universal reconciliation, then you are not saved. The Holy Spirit would never allow a truly saved person to accept such a demonic doctrine. The doctrine of no possible way that anyone can suffer God's Judgment is from the devil, and the people who follow the Creator could not possibly fall for such insane nonsense. In order for you to believe such ridiculous insanity, you must twist & distort the scriptures on purpose just because you don't want to accept that the wicked will be destroyed. But God is righteous to judge thus!

John 10:4-5 "And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers"
